To be fair, driving that fast while eating a doughnut must be quite the challenge.

He had the same mindset of an over-confident supercar driver trying to catch a bike.

Those all season 8000000 mile warranty police tires sure didn't help any.

Years ago when I rode bikes everywhere I had a friend that was know for never stopping for the police. one morning when I was I riding in to work (did I mention we worked at the same shop in a gated shipyard?) I was stopped at an intersection, and he as he passed he raised his front wheel off the ground as he passed and I took off in pursuit. when we got to the guard kiosk there was a car in front of us and we stopped. that's when the police car blipped his siren. my friend told me to go through the gate a pull over. (that's what I had planned to do being the more or less law abiding citizen that I am) I did just that and watched as he did a U turn around the kiosk and out the gate with the police car right behind. I looked at the guards in the kiosk and they looked at me. I shrugged, started my bike and went on to work. about 10 minutes later I call from my biddy asking if could arrange a ride to work for him. I did that day and he borrowed a car to drive to work for the next month or so as there was a police car parked outside the gate every morning for quite a while. he saved us both from getting a ticket that day.
